Crisis Cabinet: We collect food and toiletries for those who have had difficulties and are unable to use the services of the Rio Vista Baptist Center.
FAITH Outreach: Is an opportunity to make an impact in the community. Every week, during spring and fall, we send small groups out to visit in-home with prospects, recent visitors and people in newly developed neighborhoods.
Stitch for Others: Sponsored by Women On Mission. These women meet on the last Tuesday of every month from 9:00 to 10:00 a.m. and make lap robes, slippers and other gifts for those in local nursing homes.
Harvest Carnival: October 2010 will be our 23nd year of offering this alternative to Halloween. We will have small carnival games, and food. Children get candy with every game and can win a stuffed animal or prize.
Angel Tree : Out reach to the Children of inmates in our community during Christmas. Our goal is to build relationships between the Inmate and child. As well as build a relationship between the inmate/family and our Church. The most important relationship we want to build is between inmate/family and Jesus Christ.
